Fred is married to Carrie and they have two sons and 2 grandchildren. For 30 years Fred has been a church leader in Scotland both at local and national levels. He is a speaker, teacher, writer, reflector, and is now based as associate pastor at Trinity church Perth. Fred is passionate about Jesus, the kingdom, the church , prayer and discipleship.

He lives in Perth and likes walking, reading, art, music and theatre. His vision is to see passionate, diverse, edgy, creative, humble Christ communities across the nation. Fred has been an ordained minister of the Church of Scotland for more than 20 years. He has led both traditional and new churches and has a postgraduate degree in missional leadership and a diploma in pastoral theology. Fred is passionate about storytelling, the power of prayer, the gospel, and unity for extending the kingdom of God. He is an author and writer and has led conferences on new church in various countries
